What happens next ?

On return of the forms we will check completion and that all of the required documents (copies are fine at this stage) have been received and resolve any queries.

We will check the church is available, if not we will inform you,  if available we will book the wedding in and let the church know whether you will need bells, an organist or anything else as indicated on your form.

We will give the church your phone number so that they can proceed with these arrangements.

We will send the church a copy of the application form which will be treated as confidential.

The church will contact organists, bell ringers, florists etc. as  / if requested on the form.

We will arrange a priest (if not Rev Marcus) and will send them the wedding application form.

The Priest will contact you directly and arrange to meet.

The Priest  will view your original ID documents when you meet.

The church will decide when the banns are to be read and will let the priest and couple know.

These will be read on three Sundays.

The Priest will print off the marriage document prior to the wedding for use in the service.

Following the wedding, the priest will post the marriage document to Wrexham Register Office.
