About Maelor Mission Area

The Maelor Mission Area is a registered Charity that is responsible for 7 Churches in Wales Churches on the Wrexham / Shropshire border.  We serve as a connecting bridge in our rural communities, fostering a spirit of unity and support.

What is a Mission area?

Mission Areas are extended versions of what would previously be        described as Parishes. Our Mission Area is one of twenty which make up the Diocese of St Asaph. Each has distinctive characteristics due to its geographical location, demographic make-up and cultural heritage.

There are seven active churches in the Maelor Mission Area and you can find out more about them here.
